Step by step
Soften and scrape
Soak the scale with warm soapy water for 10 minutes, then lift it with a plastic razor blade held flat.
Descale if needed

Dry thoroughly with microfibre.

Understanding hard water and limescale on quartzite
True quartzite is fused quartz and does not react with kitchen acids. Stones sold as quartzite that are really dolomite or marble, like many "soft quartzites", do etch.
