Water rings on porcelain are mineral deposits left behind as water evaporates, because the surface is non-porous and nothing soaks in. Wipe with warm soapy water, then use diluted white vinegar or a descaler, both safe on porcelain for anything left, and dry with microfibre.

Wash the area
Clean with warm water and a few drops of pH-neutral dish liquid, rinse and dry with a soft cloth so you can see what is left on the porcelain.
Dissolve the minerals
Wipe on a 50:50 mix of white vinegar and water, leave two minutes, then wipe off.
Rinse and dry
Rinse with clean water and dry with microfibre so new spots do not form.

- Mixing cleaning chemicals, especially bleach with anything else.
